Surprisingly the shopping ban is going just swimmingly, even with Christmas just around the corner! I managed to find a fake tree for only $35 and I picked up all my decorations on the cheap last January, so I'm pretty much all set! The bf has a job in Toronto all week, but when he gets back next weekend we'll be in full decorating mode!
Christmas presents on the other hand have me a little worried... Does anyone have any creative DIY ideas for friends and family gifts? What do you guys have planned in terms of presents this holiday season? Feel free to share ideas and links in the comments section!

Ways I've Worn This Blazer...
For presents, I try to get the most bang for the buck by picking out things that are fun and stylish yet not expensive. For instance, I'm sending my blogger-friends colorful, cute socks. Yes, they're socks but they're really cute ones. Good luck with your Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for xmas decorating!
ReplyDeleteI always like the looks of the baking goods gifts where the ingredients are layered all pretty like in a jar with a pretty label with instructions on it like cookies and etc.
ohh man I wish I thought of some DIY gifts for the holiday I was thinking of making a moss jar for my sister cuz she likes that kind of thing lol
ReplyDeleteI picked up some really nice vinegar and oil jars cheap and filled them with homemade chilli oil and lemon/basil oil. You can find recipes online. I put ribbon around them to pretty them up! Everyone liked the fact that they were delicious and reusable.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great blazer (now Ricki's is a store I haven't visited in a while-hmm...) I was seriously contemplating making homemade soap for Christmas gifts- and truffles-everyone loves truffles!
