It's so nice to finally be able to sit down and relax! These last few weeks have been hectic to say the least, but with the exam finally behind me I can actually spend a little time being lazy - and its lovely.
Now there are only two days of work that stand between me and the Jersey coast line. I can't wait to hit the beach.
Is the Jersey shore tacky to Americans? All I know is that summers there as a kid were always amazing so this is bringing me a healthy dose of happiness and nostalgia!
On a completely unrelated note, the new job has been fabulous. A challenge, but fabulous none the less. Coco can come to work with me which is so much better than leaving her in her crate for hours on end, and I can actually wear whatever I want! So much better than a business casual code... though I guess my style is kind of classic anyways (at least that's what I strive for!), but I do like trying out trends and adding some girly pieces, so this is the perfect opportunity to play with my look a little bit!
I'm glad to hear you're doing alright. You look great! Love that top.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience, "Americans" tend to view New Jersey as the "poor man's New York" or "people not cool enough" to live in New York. Then on top of it we have the show Jerseylicious and all that entails, so the public perception is really very skewed in that case.
Those jeans look SO good on you!! Love the deep blue color.
ReplyDeleteAs an American, I've always felt the Jersey Shore to be tacky even BEFORE that ridiculous show came to air. But I hope you enjoy yourself!! It's always fun to look back on your favorite childhood haunts :)
Loving this top, great print. Would love to see what those shoes look like peeking out from your jeans!
ReplyDeleteLove this look too! those jeans are hot!!
