Fire in Your New Shoes

I've come down with some sort of flu, so to make myself feel better I thought I'd blog about my favorite topic: New Shoes.

I definitely went over my monthly clothing/shoe budget this month. While a "Monthly Money Check-Up" is actually on its way this month, I thought I'd take a little survey to find out whether a recent purchase is a yey, or a nay.

cardigan - Dynamite (2011); tank - Dynamite (2011); pants - Gap (2010);
clogs - Aldo "Markley" (2011)

Aldo "Markley"

So I realize that they're not 100% "my style" (if we can say i have a specific style...), but I'm so in love with the clog trend, and these are surprisingly easy to walk in...

What do we think?

  2. I'm not typically into clogs, but I've warmed up to the wooden/studded sandals. I think they're cute and will be versatile. I'm not sure of the longevity of the trend, but who cares if they're still "trendy" if you like them!

  3. I wish I could just go out and make purchases! My husband does, too. I could reallllly use some new shoes, but I hate spending my money. I am such a lame blogger :)

  5. As "organized" as I may be, I do not have a budget for clothes-shoes.
    HOwever this year I have begun keeping track of what I spend and I honestly fear that END of the year amount....
    On a happier note, I love your ALDOS !

  6. I just stumbled upon these clogs and I'm thinking about ordering them. Would you say they are true to size? I'm usually a size 7 but I've heard that Aldo shoes run quite small...

  7. definitely true to size! I got a 6 and they fit perfectly. they are howver a little tight around the front opening, but nothing a little shoe stretcher didnt fix!
