Ottawa Fashion Week F/W 11

I know it was a month ago now, but I’m finally getting around to a fashion week review. Better late than never!

I was only there for one of the 3 nights due to my busy schedule, but I loved every second of it. The evening started out with ElizBourk. Her esthetic was sportswear with a bit of a glam twist. I loved all the faux fur accents and little winter accessories. However I feel like the collection was almost better suited to a spring/summer show, had it not been for the colors chosen and the accessories. I don’t think I’ll be going bare legged and mini anytime next winter… this is Canada after all.

The following show was Serendipity by Kelsey McIntyre. Her 70s esthetic was so on trend with the Paris and New York shows. The midi skirts and how she translated the alpine sweater trend onto jersey dresses and blouses were right up my alley! Not to mention the adorable little owls, which made me want to buy that glorious skirt in every color.

She closed her show with a beautiful bridal gown done up in feathers, with a corseted back. If I were ever to consider a winter wedding, it would be an absolute dream to wear, maybe paired with a little lace stole?

And of course Rachel Sin who I love, and wore to the event. I love her easy glamour and architectural details. The details on every dress blew me away, and of course, pink, black and gold, will always be my color palette of choice.
Absolutely breathtaking.
