I wish this awful weather would make up its mind! There has been so much snow these last few days. And here I thought it was almost spring. Ah well. Although I can’t wait to pull out pretty floral dresses, I’m quite happy that I get some more wear out of my pretty boots before I have to pack them away for the season.
Yesterday’s outfit was pretty simple. I bought this sweater/tunic thing a few days ago when I went shopping with the girls and thought it was a perfect basic to add to my closet. Although it’s not very exciting, it has lots of remixing possibilities, which is always a good thing.
I’m also looking to make a long maxi skirt without much volume. Should it be just a basic tube with an elastic waist? If anyone has seen a good tutorial, I’d appreciate if they were to pass it on J
Great outfit! I am dying over those heels!!!
ReplyDeleteI know you want to make one, but I just bought a maxi skirt from Express and it's amazing! If you can't find a good pattern, I suggest you try Express!! ;)

That shirt definitely has a ton of remixing potential! Natasha from Required 2 Be Inspired has a great tutorial on making a maxi skirt that doesn't look too hard. You could probably leave the inset out if you want to keep it really sleek too.

I agree that basic is best sometimes. I Love this ensemble, especially the heels.
ReplyDeleteYou look great- I love those pumps! I love the black maxi skirts that are sheer at the bottom- very chic! I just read your post about what you bought in February- great buys and so affordable! I counted and this week alone I spent $300 on clothes! Gasp!
