I have been fortunate enough to receive the Cherry on Top Award!
I know its taken me a while to post it, but I really am grateful! Just consumed with work, and what little posting time I have I devote to outfits, and of course creeping on everyone else!

- My slight geekiness. It always weirds people out when I tell them I used to read comic books, collect magic cards, and play world of warcraft. I love that by looking at me you wouldn't necessarily assume these things... I think it adds depth to my character!

- My ability to pick things up quickly! While I may not be an instant superstar at it, I only need to be shown things once, and for the most part retain all the information on how to do it! This has been super handy with my new job (s), accounting, and sewing :)

- My Eyes! Even though they always turn out red in photos, I'm blessed to be someone with dark features, but blue-grey-green eyes. They're always changing depending on my outfit and mood!

(5) Post a picture that you love

It took me a while to decide on a picture, but I ultimately chose this one because it embodies SO MANY things that I love: two of my absolute favorite girls, going to concerts (Spice Girls reunion back in Feb of '08), costumes (can you guess who we are?), and sewing (I just happened to make that union jack dress!)

Playing catch up with a few outfits...

On another note, the weekend was fabulous! Celebrated my cousin Shannel's 19th birthday with dinner and drinks at Foundation in the market, and then headed to Sotto. Not my scene, but fun none the less. Ever seen Jersey Shore? I think those kids would love it there. haha. Even my aunt came along... and damn does she ever have some dance moves!

Yesterday we headed to my dad's for a BBQ. It rained like mad so we were sequesterned to the house, but it was still a good time, and I got to catch up with my step-mum's sister Mary who I haven't seen in years!

Sixteen

I'm pretty pumped that its already Wednesday! The weeks go by so much faster when you're doing work that is actually relatively enjoyable!
Last night we went for Thai food and it was AMAZING! The Green Papaya in Ottawa in case any of you were in the area. I wish I could tell you what I ordered, but I have no idea what it was called, only that it was so spicy that my lips tingled for hours afterwards!

Worn last weekend... I can't believe some people are already through the challenge! I'm such a slacker apparently! My next few posts will show multiple outfits I'm sure... I miss my other clothes! And I've been getting a lot of wear out of only a few of the pieces. Just goes to show you how much thought should really go into selecting the capsule. I didn't select nearly enough fun pieces.

Congrats to everyone who has completed it! I've adored watching what you've all put together!

1-15 Summary

So apparently I have absolutely no photoshop skills. I swear when I was editing this the pictures were in focus... Any tips?

Anyways, looking back I can see I haven't gotten nearly enough wear out of some of those pieces, and I can already see new combinations, so stay tuned!
